How does Orwell establish a dystopian setting?

  1. A dystopian setting is a type of genre which explores political structure. There are different types of dystopian fiction,

1- Utopian fiction which is fiction created around the idea of an ideal society.

2- Dystopian fiction on the other hand is a fictional society which is degradable, out of control and in anarchy. A good mix in between these two ideas is the most popular when it comes to picking between these two for the structure of a book. One good example of a novel which entrails this is Gullivers travels as it shows the ideas of a good and bad society.

In a typical dystopian fiction book, the author will attempt to show why something is the way it is and will attempt to change with your views or reasonings.
